mostly i be cheap sumon strong card fast (like tragoetdia's effect summon skull's low LV and the red-eyes red-eyes chick thing) and take full advantage of card effects (like man-eater bug and patrician of darkness)

I see. While Summoned Skull is good another note worthy card like that is Cybertech Alligator. Its the same lv. and attack strength. good Lv.6 monsters are ones like Horus the black flame dragon Lv.6 who is auto immune to all spells and Prime material dragon.

Now then for your bigger buggers like red eyes black dragon i've found a tiny little dragon that has a nack for reviving lv. 7 and higher dragons from the grave. Decoy dragon might seem under powered, but its effect makes up for it, since it revives a high lv. dragon and then forces the attacking monster to deal with it instead of decoy himself.

Good support cards go a long way too. Ancient rules is one of the best cards for lv. 5 and higher normal monsters, since it lets you special summon them without any side effect. Of course if you go with a lot of dragon then at least one copy of Five headed dragon would be a nice little addition. By using a card called dragon's mirror you gain access to the fallen dragons to use to call it instead of having to wait for the five to be in your hand or on the field. Combining patrician of darkness with F.H.D. you can effectively make your opponent not want to attack you since you'll just redirect the attack to F.H.D.

well cyber-tech alligator in trying to get form my friend now

decoy dragon sounds great especially since i just got the card dragonic knight

i never knew about Ancient rules that's something any deck could use

dragon's mirror i'll keep an eye out for it

and F.H.D. well i'd love but i don't think i'll ever find one

and well i need more fiend cards 'cause i just got the card drakness neosphere and i only have 4 fiend cards in my deck so it will be hard to sumon

With F.H.D. I thought the same thing and managed to own three at one point. I have two now. There is an older dinosaur deck that came out that has F.H.D. in it.

Dragon's mirror is a common so it should be easier to find.

Ancient rules is a rare/Ultimate rare card. Many people like it so it may be a little tough to get your hands on.

Reasoning is a substitute for Ancient Rules. Your opponent picks a lv. and then you pick up cards. if you get a monster whose level doesn't match it comes out for free. If it does match then it goes to the grave. Regardless all other cards grab still go to the grave.

As far as fiends go...There are a few good ones, but unless you run skill drain they will die to quickly. Phantom of Choas is a good fiend to play with. Since it can copy any dark monster in the grave if you remove it from play for its effect. But then again,fiends are not my specialty. ^_^;
